Tourmaline comes in many exciting colors to suit anyone’s preference including intense reds, pinks, and purples to luscious greens and neon blues. It is found in a handful of exotic places all over the world. This particular piece is from the newly found pockets of the Commander Mine in Nadonjukin, Tanzania. This material has already drastically reduced in production since it’s late 2016 discovery and yeilded mostly crystal quality material with facetable rough being even more rare. This amazingly clean piece showcases the intense, gemmy green color now associated with this material, weighs 3.32 cts. and measures 12x6x4 mm. This terminated stone is one of not even a handful of facetable material from this find and is definitely a piece for the most exclusive collection.
